So, it's the Fourth of July right?

Yeah, it sure was fun. <endsarcasm>

Basically everything that we used to do, and everything that was tradition went up in flames with the pile of used fire works.

Nothing at all went the way I wanted. There were a few things I wanted, and none of them worked.

Usually, my parents and I go down to the firework stand, and pick out individual fireworks.

Not today. No, they just decided to dump me on my big brother who already bought everything on his own. These are the same parents who didn't put up christmas lights, didn't let me dress up (It doesn't matter if I trick or treat or no.) for halloween.

So we went out, I bought a car that drives around when lit, a box of pop-its, some spinning eyes, and a crackling cactus. You know what? I only lit the car and the eyes.

Say I'm making mountain out of mole hills, but they stole all of my other fireworks, lit them, and then set the boxes on fire. They proceeded to take my pop-its (That and the car is really all I wanted) and they THROW it in the FIRE. MY pop-its. To make matters worse, they took the other box, and devided it up among themselves to throw at each other.

I'm so mad at them. I mean, those are the ONLY two things that were mine. I asked them not to but they blatently disrespected me and stole everything but my car. Then, my big brother stole the car and attempted to throw it on the fire.

Okay, WTF? Can I get just a little respect? It's not like you're drunk. Effing jerks. More so, anything I want to do, they put off until later, and then never do anything, with me.

Now then, here's the part that really pissed me off today. We went all along to the mall, to walgreens, to safe-way, to target, all places they wanted to go. And yet they go out and buy fireworks with out me, then when we go to the mall, I want to take a five minute break (Now granted, I go to the mall three times a year only) to go look at one store, and my dad looks at me and goes, "No, come on. We're here looking for something." And dragged me off. Because they were looking for a stupid sports team decoration for my uncle. And they couldn't take five minutes away for me to go look at one store, for the first time in me going to the mall in the last six months.

*Sighs* I don't know. My parents are always wining to me "Why don't you go anywhere with me? Why do you sit in your den drawing all the time? Why don't you spend time with us?"

The answer is simple. Because you go where you want to go, make it completely about what you want to do, the fact that you don't care about what I deem as fun. Because any time we spend together is your idolization. I honestly don't remember the last time we did something I brought up that I wanted to do. Really I do not. Maybe when we went to go see Madagascar in theater. Yeah, that's the last time.

It was even like yesterday. I suggested we watch a movie. Suddenly dad says "Okay, what do you want to watch?"
"Well, how about-"
"Adventures in Babysitting?! Great Idea!"
"But..."

I mean, really, it seems like a trivial thing to complain about, but all I want is something to go the way I want it to, the style I want it.

And that's what the fourth of July, and Christmas was for us. They were the way I want it because they were tradition. But I guess I can't have that either, huh?

Oh well. I'm fifteen when they come to respect, but I'm twenty five like my siblings when it comes to how I'm supposed to act. Why not one or the other. Give me the respect of a fifteen year old, and that's how you'll expect me to act, or give me the respect of a twenty-five year old and that's how I'll try to act.

My dad wants me to sign up for golf, just like he did for guitar. This time I was hesitent, I actually disagreed, and he wouldn't leave me alone. So today I gave in and said "Fine." of course, he's all ecstatic, but while we're going into these sports stores, I suggest we get a glove while we're here, mostly because I need to get one. My dad just flips out on me "No, we're on a mission! We're not here to get things for you, we've got to find this stuff for your uncle."

"... okay."

It made me so upset, that I've bitten (The top of) my wrist to keep from crying and to calm my self down. It's bruised my wrist and made it bleed a bit. Man, I am I upset.

I don't mean to be rude, but here's the lay down. My siblings are twenty five and twenty six, my parents are fifty one. I'm fifteen. My brother-in-law is twenty seven.

So I'm really left behind. My parents say they're to old to do anything, and I can't say three sentences with out them going "What?! You're mumbling! Stop it!" For those of you who know me, I don't mumble. My voice is naturally very loud. And my siblings had their children fun with my parents, now I want mine. But every time they come over, my mom becomes instantly drunk, my dad forgets I'm fifteen, and everything is taken over. I'm tired of it. They say being the youngest is the best.

But it's really not.

*Sigh*

Sorry for dumping this on you, but I needed to rant. This was thirty minutes straight of typing.

Now I need to go and bandage my wrist/hide it from my parents.
